Referral Sources for Minority and Female Job Applicants

All firms participating in Federal-aid construction projects are required to make good faith efforts to employ minorities and females. The following Community Agencies are potential referral sources for minority and female job applicants. The listing is not all-inclusive and should not be interpreted as a reason for a firm to not contact other agencies for applicants.

In addition to the agencies listed below, there are more than 20 Workforce Development Career Centers located in Nebraska that can be contacted for minority and female job applicants. The names of additional referral sources may be obtained by contacting local Chambers of Commerce, and city or municipality offices in the vicinity of a project.

NDOR will conduct periodic reviews to determine a firm's compliance with the Federal minority and female hiring requirements.
