Proposed Construction : Construction of a four lane divided highway of existing US 30 west of the Kearney city limits. The project will begin approximately 1/2 mile west of Dove Hill Road and extend east 3 1/2 miles to just west of 30th Ave. Several connecting roadways will be constructed along the route to provide access at: Dove Hill Road, 65th Ave. PL, Riverdale Road, Cottonmill Lake Road, 46th Ave, and Rolling Hills Road.

Lighting/Signals/Signing: Roadway Lighting will be provided through the urban section and at all intersections with the proposed construction..

Right-of-Way: Right of Way and access control will be acquired along the entire project.

Phasing: Traffic will be maintained on existing US 30 at all times. Staging will be required at all tie-in locations.

Schedule: September 3, 2009, Bid Letting
