Proposed Construction : The proposed 6 miles of  improvements on US 75 begin 0.2 miles south of Oak Hill Road/Avenue "B" in Plattsmouth and extends north crossing the Platte River and ends at Fairview Road. Proposed improvements for this section of US 75 include reconstruction/widening of US 75 on improved alignment, bridge construction, and multiple County Road and Frontage Road improvements.

Lighting: Roadway Lighting will be provided at the new interchanges at Bay Road/Webster Blvd., Platteview Road, and Fairview Road.

Related Studies: US 75 Corridor Study, Nebraska City to Bellevue

Right-of-Way: Right-of-way, temporary construction easements, and new controlled access will need to be purchased at various locations along this project.

Phasing: Traffic will be maintained on the existing roadways during construction.  Detours are required on the various side roads.

Schedule: The project is scheduled to be let July 2008 and is expected to take 4 1/2 years to complete.

Estimated Cost: The current total cost for the project is $70,000,000.
