Proposed Construction: This Project begins on US-83 South of the Middle Loup River to a new intersection with N-2, just East of Thedford. This includes a new bridge over the Middle Loup River on a new grade and alignment as well as a new Viaduct over the BNSF tracks and N-2 to provide a grade separation.
Right of Way: Right of way acquisition will be required throughout the Project.
Phasing: A temporary road on US-83 will be needed to keep approximately 800' of the current US-83, South of the existing crossing open during construction. No detour will be required.
Schedule: This Project is currently in the 5 yr. Program.
Estimated Cost: $ 5,500,000.
