Proposed Construction : This project is a realignment of 2 county roads, 148th St. and 162nd St. just north of the Bennet N-2/N-43 interchange. The purpose of the project is to improve operations along N-2 between the Bennet interchange and the proposed Beltway around Lincoln by closing the 148th St. intersection. The project will realign aproximately 1.5 miles of the paved 148th St. and .25 miles of the gravel 162nd St. county roads. The county roads will be connected to the N-2/N43 interchange north of Bennet.
Right-of-Way:
New Right of Way will be acquired for the entire length this
project
This project will be constructed on new alignment.
Phasing: This project will be constructed under traffic.
Schedule: The tentative construction schedule is to begin construction in the Spring of 2010, and end construction in the Fall of 2010.
Project Cost: $2.7 million dollars.
