I-80 / I-180 Bridge Widening Projects

Traffic will be maintained thru the area in phases similar to what was done during the conversion of I-80 from four lanes to six lanes.
Traffic will always be maintained in each direction and the project is scheduled to be phased over three years.
The frontage road parts of the interchange will not always be open to traffic but it is our intention to keep both I-80 and the I-180 / US-34 routes open to traffic throughout the construction.

The current projected schedule for this reconstruction is no earlier than 2014 and is dependent on what happens with the next congressional highway funding bill.
