Proposed Construction:
The proposed improvements at the N-50/Cornhusker Intersection include channelizing the westbound and eastbound Cornhusker Road approaches to N-50. A raised median, pavement widening, and geometric modifications will better facilitate traffic movements through the intersection.
Lighting/Signals:
Cornhusker intersection is already signalized and roadway lighting may need to be adjusted.
Right of Way:
Acquisition of new right-of-way will be minor.
Phasing:
Project to be built under traffic. No detour is required.
Schedule:
The project is currently scheduled for a 6/17/2010 letting
Cost:
The project is estimated to cost $100,000.
