Contact: Brochure for November 2006 Meeting (pdf) Proposed Construction: The proposed project, in the city of Columbus, consists of the replacement of the existing Viaduct on US Highway 30 over the Union Pacific Railroad, and the reconstruction of the approaches to the viaduct between 8th St. to the south and 15th St. to the north. Lighting/Signal/Signage: Lighting and signals will be upgraded as a part of this project. Right of Way: Additional ROW and construction easements will be required through the project. Traffic Flow/Phasing: The project will be constructed under traffic, with one lane of travel in each direction through the project maintained. Access to homes and buisnesses will be maintained during construction. Schedule: October 2008 letting expected. The estimated starting and completion dates for this project. are October 2008 and November 2010 Estimated Cost: $8.7 Million total project cost, City of Columbus to share $1.74 Million.
