Local Projects Division
Work in partnership with local public agencies to provide oversight, ensure eligibility, and maintain local transportation and related infrastructure consistent with the Nebraska Department of Roads' overall mission.
- Provide oversight for federal aid local projects programs, ensuring that local public agencies maintain their eligibility to receive federal funds.
- Keep projects in compliance with federal laws, rules and regulations.
- Ensure federal funding on local projects is appropriately expended.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Board of Examiners for County Highway and City Street Superintendents, and the Board of Public Roads Classifications and Standards.
